Serena Johnson , Managing Director

Serena joins Love of T with over six years of non-profit experience. A native of Los Angeles, she worked at arts non-profits building out their fundraising infrastructure culminating in a $3 million capital campaign to build a new theater in Glendale, CA. In 2020, she turned her focus towards supporting others on their own mental health journey when we was diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety. As a child of addiction, she understands first hand how a lack of mental health support can impact one’s ability to thrive in this world. She is deeply passionate about connecting people to the services they need in a world where those services are woefully under-provided.

Dr. Daniel Burt

Dr. Burt grew up in Berkshire County, and though he now lives in Texas, he still thinks of Massachusetts as his home. He is a board-certified physician, specialized in Behavioral Health, as the topic has always been a topic near-and-dear to his heart. Luke has been a great friend throughout his life and the tragic loss of his mother, T, was a heart-wrenching loss for him and many others. Dr. Burt’s family has also had several suicides, and its impact on him growing up has in-part shaped who he is today. Mental health in the medical field is short-staffed and underserved across the country, and groups like the Love of T are so needed in connecting people with treatment and community. If the group prevents one suicide, it is a great win for society. He has served as a board member for the organization since January 2022, and hasn’t looked back! It’s a great honor to be a part of Love of T.
